WHO WE ARE
Lunch Thyme Catering emerged from a rich tapestry of experiences. It all started in 1970s in Paterson, NJ. After returning home from the Vietnam War, Glenn Sr. discovered his passion for crafting Old World Recipes during his tenure at Benovi's Italian Restaurant in Park Ridge, NJ. There, under the mentorship of a second-generation Italian immigrant family, he mastered the art of Italian cuisine, emphasizing the use of only fresh ingredients.
In 1979, he founded Anjo's Family Restaurant, which quickly became a beloved institution in Northern NJ, renowned not only for its delicious homemade dishes but also for its warm familial atmosphere, treating patrons like family for over 30 years.
Rooted in tradition, the culinary legacy continues with Glenn Sr.'s wife, Joann, who honed her skills in a household steeped in Italian culinary traditions. From her upbringing with first-generation Italian immigrants to her lifelong dedication to perfecting generational recipes, her commitment to crafting fresh, nutritious, and delightful meals remains unwavering.
In 2020, Glenn Jr., a US Air Force veteran and 2014 US Air Force Academy Graduate, joined the team as a co-founder of Jersey Sub & Pizza Co. and more recently, Lunch Thyme Catering. Drawing from his extensive customer service experience in the Air Force, Glenn Jr. ensures that every customer receives top-notch service while infusing Lunch Thyme Catering with a fresh perspective on health and meal choices.
Together, our team continues to adapt to evolving tastes and demands, steadfast in their commitment to delivering quality meals without compromising on taste or nutrition.

With the flexibility to place orders up to 30 days or as little as 1 day in advance, parents can effortlessly schedule delivery of nutritious meals tailored to their child's preferences. Each meal is freshly prepared with premium ingredients every morning, ensuring both quality and taste.
